In a world that rarely slows down — especially when you’re juggling roles as a mother, student, partner, and more — I found myself constantly pushing my needs aside. Even my so-called “quick break” with my bong became another thing on the to-do list. I’d walk over for just a minute of peace... only to realize an hour later I was still standing there, holding it, never having taken the hit. That’s when I knew I needed more than a habit — I needed a ritual. Something intentional. Something sacred. So I wrote a mantra. A pause. A breath. A boundary.
With this breath, leaf, and fire... Grant me peace, my heart’s desire.
